Saskatchewan

This area is completely devoid of any known natural feature which has attracted climbers. In fact, the ACC Saskatchewan section site says that their territory is îso flat that on a clear day, you can almost see the back of your head.” Nonetheless, there are a number of climbers from Saskatchewan, and a few have recently summited some significant Himalayan peaks. The closest climbing to the eastern end of the province is the rock of Manitoba and northwestern Ontario, and the closest western climbing is in the Kananaskis country, about seven hours drive.
