Manitoba
Winnipeg, may be the largest city in the so-called prairies provinces, but numerous opportunities for excellent rock-climbing are available within a few hours drive. Goose Neck Rocks, near Minaki, the Roadside Cliff on 17A, and Jones Cliff on 671, north of Kenora, all have opportunities for sport, top-rope, bouldering, and trad climbing, mostly one, but up to three pitches in length. Closer to Winnipeg is Gunton Quarry, which has some short routes and bouldering.
